From spork to cable ties: BOY showcases its diverse range at KUTENO in Bad Salzuflen

The compact design with a small footprint, together with modern drive and control tech-nology, make the BOY Electric series a future-proof solution for a wide range of applica-tions.

At this year’s KUTENO 2026, taking place from 9 to 11 June 2026, Dr. Boy GmbH & Co. KG will be showcasing a small selection of its current range of machines.

The focus of the exhibition stand will be on two machines:

In addition to the smallest BOY injection moulding machine, the BOY XS E, visitors will also be able to see for themselves the capabilities of the BOY 35 Electric.

The BOY XS E, with a clamping force of 100 kN, is used to produce a so-called ‘spork’ – a clever combination of a spoon and a fork in a single component. The machine impresses with its minimal footprint of just 0.87 m² and high precision. Thanks to innovative and proven technologies, the machine offers numerous applications in micro and small-part injection moulding. The free-standing two-platen clamping unit with a diagonal arrangement of the tie bars ensures that the plasticising unit, mould cavity and ejector are optimally accessible, which facilitates the integration of automation equipment.

The BOY 35 Electric, BOY’s smallest electromechanical injection moulding machine with a clamping force of 350 kN, will demonstrate its performance and efficiency in the production of cable ties live at the exhibition. The machine is characterised by precise injection, high dynamics and reduced cycle times thanks to parallel movements. The new universal injection unit with patented injection force measurement (available screw diameters from 14 mm to 32 mm) ensures high process accuracy. The two-platen clamping unit and the lubricant-free mould mounting area provide optimal conditions for clean applications. The machine produces innovative, reusable cable ties that impressively combine sustainability and functionality.

The compact design with a small footprint, together with modern drive and control technology, make the BOY Electric series a future-proof solution for a wide range of applications.

BOY’s presence will be complemented by another machine at OPM’s partner stand (Hall 20, booth H12). A BOY 25 E will be on display there, producing check cards. The material is coloured using liquid ink.
