BOY showcases sustainable cup production at Equiplast 2026 in Barcelona
During the exhibition, espresso cups will be produced live on the BOY 20 E PRO in collaboration with Alfarben. The application impressively demonstrates the high precision and process stability of the compact machine, which has a footprint of just 1.8 m².
At this year’s Equiplast 2026, taking place from 2 to 5 June 2026, Dr. Boy GmbH & Co. KG, together with its Spanish representative Centrotécnica, will be presenting innovative solutions for efficient and sustainable plastics processing.
The focus of the exhibition booth is on two injection moulding machines from the BOY range:
During the exhibition, espresso cups will be produced live on the BOY 20 E PRO in collaboration with Alfarben. The application impressively demonstrates the high precision and process stability of the compact machine, which has a footprint of just 1.8 m². This machine is equipped with a servo drive and the Procan ALPHA® 4 control system. It is characterised by low energy consumption and an attractive price point, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications.
At the same time, pen covers made from PP PHC 27 are being produced on a BOY 35 Electric the smallest electromechanical injection moulding machine with a clamping force of 350 kN with a cycle time of 16 seconds. The machine is characterised by precise injection, high dynamics, short cycle times and a clean, lubricant-free mould mounting area. The injection moulding machine also features a newly developed universal injection unit with patented back pressure measurement.
With the applications on display, BOY is sending a clear message about the combination of innovative machine technology and sustainable materials.
