An overwhelming trade fair success for BOY in March 2023

From 7th to 10th March, a BOY 35 E was presented at the French Global Industry fair. This fair in Lyon was a real success: A plus of 75% visitors in comparison to the year 2021.

On this occasion, the French representative BEWEPLAST exhibited a BOY 35 E in cooperation with the company KISTLER, a Swiss manufacturer of pressure sensors.

The cavity pressure sensor is primarily used for process monitoring and can be easily evaluated via the machine control. This always ensures that the cavity pressure is not exceeded.

The machine exhibited produced a bottle opener which delighted the many visitors.

BOY presented itself as an important machine manufacturer at the fair and attracted a lot of attention.

The visitors, most of whom were not based in the plastics industry, were surprised by the small size of the BOY machine, its performance and its future-oriented functions. In addition to these points the low energy consumption was also seen as a great advantage in times of high energy prices.

Thierry Roche, Sales Manager of BEWEPLAST states: "All this has allowed us to return from the show with several promising projects, especially projects with those companies which are involved in the very active topic of plastics recycling."

An identical BOY 35 E was also exhibited at Plastico Brasil in Sao Paulo, which took place in the last week of March.

Tilo Zimmermann, Deputy Head of International Sales at Dr. Boy, who was on site during the trade fair comments: "Plastico Brasil was the first plastics trade fair in Brazil that had taken place after three years of the mandatory break due to the Corona pandemic. The fair was very well attended on all days.

The BOY 35 E exhibited at our partner booth/representative HDB attracted attention due to its compact dimensions in comparison to the machines presented by the competitors. In particular, the solution with the sprue picker integrated in the safety gate demonstrated how compact but powerful systems can be accommodated in the smallest space. In combination with energy efficiency, we see great potential to make our customers' production even more efficient in the future".

A BOY 25 E with 250 kN clamping force, just as compact, powerful and versatile - convinced visitors at the Koplas in Korea (14th – 18th March). This injection moulding machine with a 24 mm Thermoplastic unit produced Polypropylene lids.

Benedikt Schöps, Project Manager at Dr. Boy, who supported the Korean representative SCM on site: "I was very pleased to be part of the team at the SCM-booth at Koplas. The visitors were highly interested in the BOY machines and I am convinced that the fair will further promote the sales of BOY machines in Korea. I would like to say thank you to all visitors and I look forward to future projects."
